COVID-19 Vaccine Passport: Ensuring Global Security

COVID-19 Vaccine Passport

The time has come! Let us live together for a little longer in the spirit of the Earth. It’s about time we made vaccine passport mandatory to ensure your safety. It has been a shaky year so far in terms of deaths, not to mention the drastic impact on the economy. We appreciate the BC government’s requirement of at least one vaccination before heading out to a favorite restaurant. It’s not over yet, let’s keep fighting to make sure your child is safe outside.

Vaccine Passport: How Do I Get One and When Do I Need It?

Certain events, services, and businesses require proof of vaccination by order of the Provincial Health Officer (PHO). The COVID-19 vaccine must be given at least once. All vaccinations must be completed by October 24. All requirements are in place until January 31, 2022, though they might be extended. To obtain your vaccine card, visit provincial health in British Columbia. You can print it off and save it on your phone.

A Fight Against Corona Virus

“Vaccines are our ticket to putting this pandemic behind us,” said Premier John Horgan. As a proponent of vaccine passports, the B.C. Chamber of Commerce argues they are “an important step to protecting employees, customers, and patrons while rebuilding consumer confidence and restoring business.”

COVID-19 Vaccination: Get Protected

COVID-19 still poses a threat to people who are not vaccinated. COVID-19 can cause severe illness in some people, which could lead to hospitalization, and there are also some people who suffer from ongoing health problems several weeks or more after getting infected. Infection can lead to these health problems even if one did not experience any symptoms at the time it occurred.

Vaccines Are Safe: Live Life the Way You Used To

As a result of decades of science and rapid development, COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective and have taken all precautions to ensure that. The vaccine is not experimental, and it has been clinically tested at all necessary stages. Vaccines have been thoroughly tested and monitored, demonstrating their safety and effectiveness. Once you have received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, you are not fully vaccinated until two weeks after getting the second dose. Until this time, you should take precautions to protect yourself and others.

In What Situations Do Vaccinations Need to Be Verified?

Do you have to be vaccinated to watch a movie? Does it matter if you don’t carry certain documents to a local restaurant for dinner?

How Can I Visit BC When I Am Not a Local?

To ensure the safety of citizens, almost all provinces have made vaccine passports or proofs of vaccination mandatory. When traveling from outside the province, proof of vaccination is still required. A valid government identification card from the same Canadian province or territory is required for people from other Canadian provinces or territories.

Proof of Vaccination vs. Vaccine Passport

With the vaccination passport, you can find out how well-protected you are against COVID-19 by interpreting the information in your QR code for documentation of your vaccination. There will be no other personal information displayed except for your name, or information about your vaccinations or exemptions.

Vaccination records are available as PDFs, which you can download to your computer or mobile device. In the case of a positive COVID-19 screening test, the report contains your personal information, the name of the vaccine you received, or what contraindications you have.

Get Vaccinated, Please!

It is time for you and your loved ones to protect themselves. Let’s not forget how far we’ve gone, we’ve lost 4.5 million people, and guess what? There are 219 million cases worldwide.  There is no doubt that COVID-19 was responsible for serious illnesses and deaths. Additionally, if you get COVID-19, you risk passing it to loved ones who could get very sick. You would be better off getting a vaccine against COVID-19.
